Stacking Wins

This week, I was grateful to be part of a conversation on Stacking Wins.

STACKING WINS AT WORK

The idea is simple but powerful: team members share wins throughout the week, and the wins are “stacked” together and celebrated at the end of the week.

In today's climate, many of us are hearing (and delivering) a lot of bad news. Increasing prices, material shortages, colleagues leaving and their roles not being filled, our team losing their offices next week, a sudden restructuring.

Our team members, and many of us, are hungry to feel a win. To be reminded of things that are going well.

We can do this within our teams by looking for bright spots, offering appreciation, stopping by to share a sincere thank you before leaving the office (or calling to offer one from afar), and celebrating wins.

PAUSING TO CELEBRATE

We can do this within our own lives by pausing to celebrate what we did get done throughout the week.

Is there anything you do on your team, or within your life, to celebrate wins?

And thank you, D, for sharing the way you use Stacking Wins with your team.
